Drink of the Week: Zombie

Start Reading Week off with the Zombie!  It’ll kick you in the ass harder than your last midterm did (or the other way round, but let’s be honest with each other). Drown your sorrows with a Zombie-induced coma as the alcohol tackles you from within. Trust me, this one is strong.

Ingredients

1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum

1 oz pineapple juice

1 oz orange juice (I prefer Papaya, but it really depends if the

bar stocks it or not)

1/2 oz apricot brandy

1 tsp sugar

2 oz light rum

1 oz dark rum

1 oz lime juice

Optional garnishing with a lemon slice, pineapple cube and maraschino cherries, serve in a Collins glass.

The drink itself is delicious if you’re into piña coladas and other beachy drinks.  The juice’s sweetness masks any alcohol flavour – that, with its high alcohol content, is a deadly combination.
